One of the best choices I made when it come to picking a hotel. Ideally located next to key attractions in Rome and w/in walking distance to Piazza Della Repubblica, the Coliseum Piazza Venezia and not so far Piazza di Spagna. The Red Bus Tours comes close to the hotel, and many good restaurants near by. Small room, but good... more

Just back from our romantic vacation in Rome, I´m sitting here thinking about how our vacation was almost ruined totally by the ” La Griffe”Hotel. Unfortunately we didnt check the hotell reviews on this site prior to packing our bags, but rather trustet the Hotels Five star rating and the word ” Luxury hotell in the discription. Luxury hotel couldn´t... more

Please find another hotel, for your own sake. La Griffe is one of the worst hotel experiences I´ve had. Here is some of the reasons why: Rude and terrible service. Extremely small rooms, some without window! Non functioning elevators. Black walls, dirty..The hotel was totally awful! more

La Griffe is described as a luxury hotel- that must be the biggest joke I've ever heard! The hotel was like a dark, dirty and worn-out cave. The bathrooom was horrible, the tap only had one setting; super jetstrenght, so you'd have to take your clothes off if you wanted to wash your hands without getting soaked! The shower was... more

Fantastic modern hotel in a fantastic location. Extremely polite staff - especially in the bar upstairs. Very clean and quiet - especially considering central location. Would highly recommend this hotel. more

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend when we went to the Italy vs Wales six nations rugby game. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room with a balcony at the back of the hotel. The only down point was that there was often a queue for the lift and a queue... more

I didn't choose this hotel, our original 3 star was over booked, so we were sent here, it was a rugby weekend thats why everywhere was full. This is a a modern Hotel, but very dark, it has no atmosphere at all, and no where to go to sit with friends except for the 9th floor roof terrace (2 beers... more

We had two level junior suite, that means very small first floor and small second floor (only beds and walk-in-closet). Bathroom was very large with smoke class wall (not so privacy). Mirror was broken and only 3 hanger in closet. Air conditioning was setup +22,5° by maid and the most lovest temperature to choose was 20° so room was too... more

We stayed here for a 2-day business meeting. The Hotel is ok, but the meeting room wasnt that great. The food in the restaurant was very average, but at least they had a nice roof terrace to get some fresh air and look across the city. Comparing it to other places in the area this is above the (low) standard... more

The staff were very friendly and from the exterior you would think that this was a 4 star hotel. However, we should have heeded other reviewers advice. Our room on the 3rd floor which overlooked the Via Nazionale had double glazing that failed to work. Noisy was not the word!!. Everything that went on in the main road, from commuter... more
