Hotel is located 15 min. walk from Termini rail and metro station and 10 min. from Barberini or Repubblica metro stations. Rooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor of an apartment building with windows facing busy street. Expect traffic wake up noise around 6:30 am. There is large bathroom but shower booth is European style. Hotel provides free wireless internet.... more

The best thing was location of that hotel. Staff was very helpfull, and breakfest was niece also. But I can`t say anything else good about that hotel. I hadn`t seen so dirty hotel in my life. Bathroom was disastrous, dirty and smelly. Bath dirty, I couldn`t see myself in the mirror - the same dirt during all my stay. Some... more

Overall impression: Just OK for an overnight sleep but not a very pleasant place at all to stay and relax for longer. Positive: Good location, clean bathroom, reasonable price, parking nearby (not free of charge though). Negative: Room not pleasant and not so clean. We had a big footprint opposite the bed in the room. No carpets and poor furniture.... more

The hotel is situated in a shared building, but that is really not a problem. Reception is bright and airy, with free internet access, and staff were very accommodating. Lift is quite tiny if you have lots of bags! The room was fairly spacious and v clean, although the bathroom was quite a squeeze. Breakfast was typically continental - pastries,... more

We are 4 persons stayed in Hotel Embassy for 3 nights, in two rooms (one for each couple). First of all both of the rooms were clean, including the bathroom. Please note that we are very capricious with cleanliness. Everything is a few minutes walk away. The rooms are big enough if you are staying for less than a week.... more

Don't be put off by some of the negative comments about this hotel. Have just spent four days there and found it perfectly adequate for a short stay in Rome - the rooms are quite small but big enough to sleep there, spotlessly clean, loads of hot water, good breakfasts and very friendly staff. If you just want a base... more

Plus = clean room, helpful stuff, convenient location, cheap in comparison to other hotels in Rome Cons = hotel is part of a building with other offices and all have a common entrance, very small & typical room, can hear noise from neighbooring rooms tip = choose hotel Embassy only if you intend not stay in room apart from your... more

After seeing some good reviews on the hotel I was very disappointed. When we arrived at the front door, which looked like the back end of a garage, we buzzed the buzzer and went inside. The building belongs to 2 hotels and a language school! The hotel was very old fashioned and the rooms were very small and basic. The... more

Just got back from a fab break in Rome. Stayed at the Hotel Embassy as it seemed a reasonible priced hotel for central Rome. The location was ok, but a liitle far out at the same time. If I went again I would find a hotel around the Trevi Fountain / Pantheon area as this is more central to all... more
