I stayed here only one night as my week long booked hotel was full my first night. I staggered into the Torion at 11am after an 18 hour flight from the West Coast. No rooms were available that early. BUT, the front desk guy saw how tired I was and went and found me a room I could get into... more

This was a great little hotel- yes its basic with its rooms but when you're in rome how much time do you want to spend in your room anyway? The rooms and bathrooms were clean; breakfast was good, with a wide choice available. I found the staff to be friendly. Whats great about this hotel though is its location- its... more

Stayed at Hotel Torino for 3 nights over Easter weekend. The only plus about this hotel is really the proximity to Termini station. It made catching an early train to FCO a piece of cake. Other then that, it was only okay. The breakfast buffet was basic--fruit, croissant, coffee. I found the front desk staff, at least the evening staff,... more

This is definitely a 2* hotel and the worst hotel we have ever stayed to say the least. In fact we’ve stayed in 2* hotels better than that. We paid reasonable amount of money for it. We booked a double room and they provided us with a single room with two single beds put together to look like a double.... more

My wife and I have just returned from Rome after staying there 3 days. We had a great time seeing all the sights and enjoying all the good wine and food Rome has to offer. Even though the weather was not great it did not spoil our holiday. The only thing we were not happy about was the hotel. Hotel... more

I have very good memories of hotel Torino. The service was very polite, and the receptionist was very skilled with different languages. The rooms were basic but neat, and there was a balcony in the room. We stayed at the second highest story, so it wasn´t that loud... The street beneath was quite noisy. The breakfast was very good. The... more

Located 5 minutes from Termini, 1-2 minutes from 3 restaurants with great authentic food, 15 - 20 minutes from tourist sites, 3 minutes from 3 ATMs. Need a taxi to get to the Vatican, but if you only have one bag it's easy to take the train and walk to the Hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, if small. It... more

Hotel Torino was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for 7 nights in this hotel. When we arrived there was complete indifference to us. not even a 'good afternoon and welcome'. There was no help with our luggage.Breakfast room was filthy and full of pidgeons eating off the tables. There was a bath in the room... more

We got moved from another 3* hotel (Fiamma) which was over-booked and we certainly didn't complain! The Torino was in a great central location (less than 5 mins walk from 2 metro stops, Termini and Repubblica, and the bus terminal). That said, if you don't mind the heat you can walk to places such as the Colloseum and Pantheon. It... more
