Hotel was clean and was a good location for sightseeing. We were traveling with another couple whose room was twice the size of our room for the same price. Attitude of the front desk staff left alot to be desired. Breakfast was included in rate and was decent. Roof top restaurant was nice, however, pidgeons were an issue. While their... more

We were there during Easter holidays. Although some reviewers wrote bad things about the hotel, we found out that our room was huge (for 2 adults and one child 14 years old), large bathroom, very clean (changed towels every day and sheets every two days), very good breakfast, and the staff was very friendly. All major attractions were in a... more

It's interesting that some reviewers wrote such bad thing about this hotel, but haven't experienced anything from it. The location is great, in a calm small street near to Termini, the Forum Romanum, and the Colosseum. The rooms are small just like in the tipycal Italian and French hotels, but the bathroom is large enough. The room was clean. Ours... more

My boyfriend and I booked our vacation through a package on Sceptre Tours. We got a phenominal deal and that's why I didn't complain about any of the following issues: Despite being 60 degrees during the day and much cooler in the evening, the room was very hot at night. We left the window open and then were kept awake... more

I stayed in this hotel because it was near the station and reasonably cheap. Call it all a 4 star hotel is just a bad joke! the staff are grumpy, the whole building looks tired and anonymous, my room was so tiny they could squeeze in only a single bed and the tv. The bathroom was quite new and clean... more

Was a bit worried about the location close to Termini for a lone female traveller, but it is actually closer to Piazza Repubblica and I always felt very safe. The hotel room was large and I had no problems with anything except that you had to pay extra for English speaking TV channels! You can walk to all major attractions... more

Took my mother (age 73) to Europe for a vacation and we spent 3 days in Rome. Based on a recommendation from AAA, I booked the Diana Hotel. What a mistake. Not only was the room dirty and in terrible condition, but they turned off the air conditioning and fan every night from midnight to noon the next day (however... more

We spent 2 nights at Hotel Diana whilst on a tour and found it to be very clean and comfortable. The decor is traditional with wooden floors. August is very hot, but we were able to open our windows. The bathroom was of average size with a range of toiletries provided. It was a bit squashy having a shower in... more

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during August 2008 as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. The first evening we ate in the roof top garden resaurant. Sounds lovely....well don't be deceived. The chef refused to cook a pizza for us as it was too late.........NO PIZZA in Italy......amazing. The food that was served was obviously microwaved... more

A group of us stayed at Hotel Diana following a Med cruise. We booked the hotel based on previous reviews and proximity to train station. This allowed for easy transfers from the port and to the airport. The hotel is at least a solid 3 stars. It is a typical older european hotel. The rooms were clean and the breakfast... more
