The Emona was a great place to stay and the staff was very helpful and were like our family away from home. They went out of their way the make sure we were taken care of and were eager to help with our travel out of Rome for our side trips. I would stay here again and would reccoment this... more

We had read all the reviews on this site about the hotel so knew it was going to be fairly good but it was even better than we imagined. The outside of the hotel was lovely and close to the Manzoni metro stop (you have to walk down one leafy residential road). The front courtyard was very cute. The staff... more

My boyfriend and I went to Rome last September to celebrate his birthday. We did a lot of research and finally decided to stay at Emona based on the positive reviews and the photos and info on the hotel website. However, we were quite disappointed. Prior to our stay, I wrote to the email as shown on the website and... more

We stayed at the hotel Emona for 4 nights in September. We had a standard room on the 2nd floor. In my opinion, this hotel was NOT cheap...but then again, nothing in Europe is cheap. We walked to the hotel from the Rome train station which took about 20 minutes (with luggage). It's in a quiet part of town. In... more

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. We booked a superior room but for the first night they only had a standard room. Not to worry though, on the second day they moved all our stuff to our new room. I can definetely recommend the superior room option. This is a great choice for a cheaper hotel in Rome. Breakfast... more

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and we had a great time. The staff was very helpful and friendly and gave us the best advice and information for the area. The room was very clean and we had a beautiful view from our window. The room service was excellent, too. The breakfast, also, was not very big but offered... more

I stayed at the Hotel Emona in April for 4 night with my partner and I loved it! It is a pleasant 10min walk from the Colosseum, which didn't bother me at all, infact I liked the walk as it gave us a chance to see the city! The rooms were very clean, and the staff were very helpful! We... more

. We went for a 10 day break to Rome to take in a bit of history. Well we were positively delighted with our hotel. On first impressions it looks very old but once inside it was a little treasure. On arrival at reception we were given room 32 on the top floor. This room proved to be a bit... more

I stayed here with a friend over the Easter weekend and thought the hotel was really nice. The rooms are a good size, although the twin beds are really close together (but most European hotels tend to be like that). The staff were friendly and helpful when we struggled with our basic Italian, and allowed early check-in on the day... more
