Me and my girlfreind stayed in Hotel Ranieri for 3 nights, and the overall expirience was far from being good. The location of the hotel is good. It is located pretty close to the central station, however if you have heavy luggage - suggest not to repeat our mistake and to walk with it to the hotel, since it takes... more

Hotel Ranieri was exactly what we wanted. They were able to accomidate 3 rooms for 3 couples at a very competitive price. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. There was renovations being done on the exterior of the hotel which made it a little difficult to find but still we found it. The hotel is very modern. The rooms... more

Speaking to people who had been on short breaks to Rome, they all said "stay central". The choice of central sites was quite long. Given that we were only there for 2 nights (3 days) we didn't need much in way of luxury, but many of the reviews of hotels under £200 were worryingly "mixed". However, going up to just... more

After a few years we recently returned to the Ranieri. To our surprise we found that the general areas of the Hotel had been remodeled and improved. The old grey entrance has completely changed and the reception which used to be on the second floor has been relocated to the ground floor. Also there is a new breakfast room which... more

I have stayed at the Hotel Ranieri twice now and can definitely say I would book to stay there again for a trip to Rome. It's a basic hotel but with comfy rooms, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. I can't praise the staff highly enough, the concierges especially are polite, extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good with... more

I was a little concerned reading what others had said about the hotel, but it is obvious that the hotel is putting some money into the facility. There was a new front desk right off the street, no more 2nd floor check in. The staff all spoke English very well and were very accomodating. Actually the best I received in... more

Disappointed on arrival as we were "overbooked" at the nearby Medici Hotel - never a good start to a break you have been looking forward to in a City you have never visited before! So mood was not good when entering the room, which was facing the inner courtyard on the first floor with hardly any daylight (a bit like... more

I have stayed at Ranieri 5 or 6 times over the last 13 years and have always found it to be a good bargain. It is clean and the staff is courteous and helpful. Luana and Diego take care of their guests and Carlo makes a divine cappuciino! more

Although when first arriving tired, this hotel looked not so good...you have to go up one flight off street level to the front desk....but....my wife and I can't say enough about how gracious the front desk conciere named "Diego" was to us!! So welcoming and spoke excellent English...sold us tickets for the Metro and helped make our stay so pleasurable... more
