this is the best hotel i have ever stayed in on my european travels. clean, bright, big and new. felt like a new american hotel not a big city (small, dark, over decorated) european hotel. great location next to the embassey and near the park for exercise. staff was great!!! breakfast was wonderful and free. have stayed in many hotels... more

Following a horrific incident of my purse being stolen with a necessary trip to the American Embassy, my family wanted to stay far away from the previous neighborhood. One of the workers at the Embassy recommended the Rose Garden Palace which was just around the corner. For the unexpected 4 day extension of our holiday, we were treated royally. The... more

We stayed at the Rose Garden Palace on our recent trip to Rome. It was our anniversary and the entire stay was memorable. It is rare to be a guest at a hotel for over a week and find no negatvies, no complaints, and no disappointments. But that's exactly what happened. The experience was incredible and I can clearly say... more

This hotel is an utter gem! It's in quiet part of Rome in walking distance of the Villa Borghese and a couple of blocks from the Via Veneto. Service was excellent, rooms lovely and the best lunch we had in Rome was in their rose garden restaurant!!! The garden is a lovely little oasis in the middle of bustling Rome.... more

Ok, first I need to say that I was unsure about staying at this hotel, some reviews showed it to be in a business district or on busy streets (had to laugh at that one since all streets in rome are busy). In the end I picked this because of its overall price, rating on several sites and location. Arrived... more

We stayed here for four nights, booked through British Airways, (much cheaper rates) Very clean and in good decor. The rooms are very spacious with a large double bed. Breakfast was buffet style, plenty to choose from, pastries, cooked, cereal, fruit, breads. Helpful and willing staff. We ordered room service on the morning of my birthday which didn't arrive but... more

General Manager Gabriele Selci and his staff run a very nice, smart and affable establishment. The staff is very friendly yet professional. The hotel is not stuffy/haughty; rather it is very comfortable - intimate - more informal with good amenities and good food. The location just off the Via Veneto (and next to the American Embassy) makes it quiet, safe... more

I feel like we really lucked out with this hotel - a 5 star experience at a 4 star price. It's a beautiful hotel in a great, high-end location (just off Via Veneto). And the service is better than many 5 star hotels - very responsive and with a friendly and pleasant attitude - including the staff in the bar... more

We booked the Rose Garden after reading the many glorious reviews on this site, and I must admit we were slightly disappointed. Maybe we got our hopes up too much, maybe the poor euro/pound exchange rate tainted our stay, or maybe we are just a little unfamiliar with high Rome prices - either way we didn't feel this hotel was... more
