My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Golf on our last night as part of a Trafalgar tour (Italian Holiday). The hotel was clean and modern but a long way from the downtown area. The room was very modern and clean. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant, included with the tour, while not outstanding was very good. more

We stayed here because I was using Marriott points and we needed to check out for one night as the hotel was full. The price for the Sheraton was 95 euro, which was really reasonable, especially when you considered they have a free shuttle into the city - which drops you near the Roman Forum/coloseum area. They also provide free... more

i had heard that the staff would not be helpful and that wasn't true at all. i was VERY pleased ... the asst manager Ms Moore was a jewel and showed her desire to please...even got a large fruit plate/wine/munchies for filling out an evaluation form. the shuttle buses for old roma don't start until 10 am and i think... more

The hotel is quite ok but nothing amazing and quite pricey, especially if booked directly with them. But they double charged me and i am still waiting for my money back!!!! This is absolutely outrageous! i have been calling literally everyday, leaving my mobile number to be recontacted but nobody ever bothered. Never again! more

I went to Rome with my mom last Summer 2006, along with the rest of the flight attendants she was working with, since my mom is a flight attendant, and I decided to go along with her since I've always wanted to go to Rome. The hotel we all checked in to is this hotel. As we checked our room,... more

Stayed 4 days for a conference and reception tested everyones patience. Very long waits just to open th e door for the satored luggage, little English. discussions about bills. Being invoiced after the fact for disputed items without warning and the list goes on. It is a lovely place and location but the reception made sure I will never return. more

We stayed at the new building 3 and liked it. We had a very nice and stylish room in the upper floor. The service was very friendly. It's near the autostrada, parking is free. The hotel shuttle brings you in about 30 min. to the city center. more

I stayed here in Sept 2008 when I attended a conference. There were many problems with the hotel. As mentioned by another reviewer, the hotel comprises 3 buildings, about 800m to 1.5km apart. When you book, you are not told which building to arrive at & can go from one to the other until it is solved. I arrived at... more

"We are very sorry, we have only recently opened and we are still working some things out..." You will hear this a lot if you stay for long at the Sheraton Golf in Rome, which at the time of writing had been open 20 days. The staff are doing the best under the circumstances, but as a guest, you'd be... more
