Just come back from Rome and stayed at this hotel. Booked through Laterooms.com at 154EUR per night. It was listed as 4* but frankly I have stayed in better 3* hotels in other countries. The rooms are a bit dated and the buffet breakfast (included) was basic. Having said all of that the location is superb. Very central to all... more

We made a reservation with the Hotel Bolivar, but upon arriving, the manager told us that our rooms were not available due to a sudden water problem (we were shown a ceiling in the entrance that had water damage, but it appeared old, and there was furniture beneath it!) We were offered a room at a nearby recently renovated hotel,... more

We were extremely pleased with our choice of the Bolivar Hotel in Rome, mainly because of its great location. We were able to walk to the Trevi Fountain in one direction, and to the Colosseum in the other direction. The room was comfortable and bigger than what we had expected. The hotel is located just off a main street but... more

It's difficult to find a moderately priced hotel in Rome but this place is it. The hotel sits at the end of a small, short alley. As we were in Rome during a time when A/C is not used the road and outside noise that can keep you awake is nil. The English speaking desk staff is competent, quick and... more

We just returned from 3 nights at the Hotel Bolivar. The location was fantastic, you can walk to most of the sights in Rome: the Colseium, Trevi Fountain and we even walked back from Easter Mass at St. Peter's Square. The staff were very helpful in answering questions, providing a clean room and serving a wonderful breakfast. We used hotel... more

We just got back from our trip to Italy, one of our stays was in Rome at the Hotel Bolivar (Comfort Inn) in Rome. We were there for 4 nights. The staff was fantastic, always willing to help with any questions, friendly, and knowledgable. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, local to all the sights, and... more

We've stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend on our last trip in Rome and i have to say that we were very satisfied from the stay. The hotel is in a very good position, in the center of Rome near the Termini station and near to all the important turistic sites. The room was very comfortable and very clean.... more

I chose this hotel because of its location. The Colesseum and Forum are less than 5 minutes away in one direction and the Trevi Fountain is less than 5 mins in the other which made the hotel very good for site seeing. The room was clean and basic. It wasn't large but it was functional for a short break. The... more

I cant begin to explain how crap this hotel was. The pretty pictures on their web site is a total lie. We paid good money for a 4 star room for our honeymoon. What we got was nothing that even resembled any of the pictures on their site. We were shoved in a dark room with a window that overlooked... more

The Bolivar Hotel is in the very heart of Rome, close to the most important monuments and attractions of the city and to one of the most important shopping street, Via Nazionale. The hotel's position is ideal to reach soon the Coliseum and the Fori Imperiali and to explore Rome’s eternal beauties. Our stay in this hotel has been pleasant... more
