During our recent trip to Italy, we used Rome as a stop-over between tours. During our first and second stops in Rome, we stayed at the Atlantico and were very satisfied. We were a party of three, so we had a nice-sized triple room. It was room with two double beds and they included a single "roll-away" type bed. The... more

Pros: (1) nice and close to Termini so (having arrived at Termini by bus) it was great not to have to go any further. (2) Good breakfast area. (3) Decent size room Cons: (1) the room initially allocated was dusty but worse than that, it really smelled of cigarettes - especially the bathroom. I informed the reception staff straight away... more

This is an excellent hotel close to the train station with a super knowledgable staff and the best breakfast of any hotel we stayed in on this trip. The rooms were standard European size with hard beds but that seems to be the norm. A little noisy at night but that's Rome! more

We booked this hotel based on the reviews on this website. The location was great , less than a block from the Termini which is the main train/bus/metro terminal. It may it very easy for us to get to and back from Rome's attractions and if we walked to them, we were able to take the bus back to the... more

I was very sceptical when we first arrived due to the bad reviews but I have to say that it wasn't that bad at all, I would call it a 4 minus star hotel due to the old furnitures but it was very clean and large enough. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The... more

It’s hard to find any hotels for under 200 euros a night in Rome, and most of the ones you can get in that price range are positively squalid. Hotel Atlantico is an exception – for the 165 euros we paid, we got a very large, clean, nicely furnished room with all the amenities, including a bathtub, stocked mini-bar, safe... more

This place is not a 4 star, which is what it said on Venere.com. I think it's more like a 2 1/2 star..(though it charges 4 star prices) The room was tiny (I was a single traveler but still) It reminded me of a freshman year dorm room. I dont know if the TV was cheap or just broken but... more

Excellent location; directly across from the main train station. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the back of the building - nice and quiet. Clean. Large bedroom - unusual for European hotels. The breakfast room was beautiful. The only complaint is that the bathtub/shower was hard to step in and out of -- the tub 'floor' is much... more

The location of this hotel was fabulous. The train station and metro are very close. We actually walked to most attractions from the hotel. It is located on a lively street with a lot of restaurants and shopping close by. The room was cleaned every day. Most of the hotel staff spoke English and were all very friendly and helpful.... more
