The hotel is in a great location and extremely close to the Vatican. The people at the front desk are extremely helpful and pleasant. However, my husband and I had horrible back aches from the beds. Fantastic hotel, small rooms but all perfectly formed and exceptionally clean. Rooms cleaned daily and bed turned over by the time we got back. Unfortunately the Dei Consoli is not an ideal hotel for tourists. There are no public rooms to relax in say, for a drink before dinner. The only public room is a small breakfast area.
