Just got back from a long weekend in Rome with my teenage daughter. On arrival the Receptionist realised that he had reserved a double room for us instead of twin rooms as requested and was looking quite worried as to what he could do for us. However, we were in no hurry to get to the room as wanted to... more

We stayed at Pace Helvezia Hotel for 3 nights. We had a double room (two twin beds combined) on the 3rd floor. They met our request for a room not facing the street. Due to this we did not have any noise issues. Overall the room was basic but clean. The shower stall in the bathroom was rather small (even... more

The hotel was suited in the center as described. We stayed for 3 night in a triple room. The room was enormous, nothing very special or luxury but it was clean and dissent. The hotel staff was very helpful for every information we asked. Breakfast was good with plenty of food to enjoy. Location is very good - near Colosseum... more

We came to Rome at the end of our trip to Italy. We had been to Florence, Venice, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Siena, San Giamgianno, and other smaller towns. So, Rome was literally like the Indy 500 of Italy. Wide streets, numerous cars zipping down the roads, lots of noise and action. The hotel was located in a great spot to... more

Slightly out of date as we stayed in this holiday during October 2007 whilst we were in Rome for four and a half days. We had a standard double room on one of the upper floors (a must as all the streets in Rome are cobbled which makes the traffic noisey). The room was relatively compact but typical for Rome... more

We stayed at Hotel Pace Venezia for 4 nights. We are a mature couple who like to explore on foot, getting the real flavour of a city, its people and culture so we tend to research the location where we wish to stay thoroughly. We describe ourselves as backpackers at heart who have matured to enjoy reasonably comfortable accommodation. We... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for my 21st birthday in July and had the most fantastic experience! The room was a pleasant suprise after some of the reviews we had read and we were very happy. It was clean and to a very high standard, with air conditioning that was very much appreciated. I must say that the rooms... more

We stayed in Rome for 5 nights. We wanted a hotel nearby the old center of Rome. We stayed in room 84 on the front side of the hotel on the fifth floor. We had a spacious room with 4 beds, a big bathroom and a fantastic airco (>38 °C outside). We had a little terrace (for which it was... more

Perfect location and nice building, but the rest of our experience did not earn the hotel 4-stars. The hotel is generally run down, the street is noisy. Breakfast was OK, but not adquate to justify 4 stars. Front desk service was not helpful, generally the reception neglected requests and complaints. Bed/matrass quality was clearly sub-standard and bathrooms very run down... more
