Though the cab to the Splendide was not memorable, the hotel was. Our room was beautiful; they upgraded us. Great location, minutes from everything. Restaurant on top floor, very good but expensive. Staff was efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Street cafes - as soon as you sit, check doubles. Stand at bar for breakfast and lunch. Costs a lot less. Nino's was our favorite place toeat. American Express booked the best tours. more
