Stayed here for 3 nights in mid June 2009 as part of a group sales meeting. When our PR person booked this hotel, the criteria was that it be a better than average hotel, in a quite place, WiFi in the rooms, and a pool or gym. What we got was something else all together different. While this was at... more

Me and my husband stayed for four nights in march, they breakfast was cold the coffee tasted of dirt I asked if i could have proper italian coffee they said they thought i would not like it how wrong. The room they gave us was so small you could not swing a cat , I had instucted the hotel that... more

We had booked this hotel before we read the reviews and if we hadn't, probably would have thought twice. However, we are so glad we stayed at the hotel; it was a lovely, olde world type of hotel with everything we wanted. When we arrived for a 4 night stay the receptionist said that we had been upgraded to a... more

when we arrived at our Hotel, we were not greeted with even a hello or a smile, I had to approach the front desk, (bearing in mind that this is a “4 Star” Hotel), to announce our arrival and booking reference, not a great start! After booking in with the extremely unhelpful girl on the desk, we asked where the... more

i've just been there. great location and good room (but without internet connection...). but the experience wasn't very good. just arrived, the light did not turn on in the room (the solution was to insert a folded business card into an electronic device). then i attended a book presentation in a room (floor -2) where air conditioning wasn't working. very... more

My friend and I booked a deluxe room for a 3 night stay at the Boscolo Palace in September 2008. When we arrived we were given a room on the first floor which was facing onto the busy street. To say we were disappointed with the room is an understatement; this was not what we expected when we paid over... more

Stayed at the Boscolo Palace in Rome last week on a family vacation. Checked in for two nights and left after one because the rooms were tired, musty, not very clean and the bathrooms were very grotty. The hotel looks truly 5 star on their website and this is completely misleading. We stayed at the Westin Excelsior the second night,... more

Overrated, expensive, rooms smelled, beds were terrible. Breakfast buffet was awful. I only stayed one night because i arrived late in the day. Further, they promised a refund, in writing, but despite multiple follow ups, have not honored their commitment. more

Excellent location - just down the hill and round the corner to the Hop on, Hop off bus (which took you around all the tourist attractions for 18 euros per day), and next door to the Hard Rock cafe. Buffet breakfast a bit limited and repetative. No curtain on shower therefore we soaked the bathroom floor all the time. No... more

I stayed at the "Grand Palace" for one night in October with a group of my colleagues. We had been very impressed with the Hotel's website and we weren't disappointed when we arrived as the reception and surrounding rooms seemed very oppulant and pleasant. The problems started in the rooms. I had to complain as my bedlinen was soiled and... more
