The swimming pool and roof terrace is the hotel's one redeeming feature. We booked a superior room, which did have a view of the colloseum from the balcony, but we shared the balcony with another room, so couldn't even really enjoy it. The room itself was tiny, the furnishings outdated, the carpet and walls worn and tired. The bathroom was... more

Hats off to this hotel. 4 Minutes walk to the Collosseum, very clean, helpful staff. The pool is georgeous and the rooftop patio is also very nice as it overlooks the Collosseum. The room was clean and very well presented. There was air conditioning, tv, patio, bar, etc. Would reccommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there again next... more

This hotel is unbelievable bad. I stayed here for 4 nights in June/2009 (10/06 to 14/06) and I had one of the worst experiences of my life. I am a member of the A-Club (Mercure loyalty program) and that was the reason why I had chosen this one for my stay in Rome, but in no way this hotel is... more

I won this hotel through Priceline at the terrific price of $118/night - a great deal considering Priceline wins guarantee double rooms, which were going at the regular rate closer to $300 on every other website. We got to the hotel much earlier than the 3pm check in time, but the staff graciously held our bags while we toured around... more

Stayed there 2 nights paying really low fare, since I've booked from Accorhotels website and there was a "last minute promotion", less than 150 euros for the two nights. The staff was a bit rude when we've arrived, as they didn't find my reservation and said that "the system shows me I'm fully booked". But then, the man reloaded his... more

I was concerned after reading some of the reviews about this hotel but was relieved and wonder why the bad review after our amazing experience in Rome with this hotel. We did booked a superior double room (and it's a proper double bed which overlooks the colosseum). Our room wasn't big but it was big enough for us (typical European... more

Our trip did not start out that great since our luggage was not put on the plane we arrived with. We eventually got it the next day. Now about the Delta Colosseo, I was abit worried when I read the hotel reviews. However we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were amazingly great and helpful. The room... more

My wife & i recently returned from a 3 night stay, we had a superior room with a view of the colosseum, the room was small like many Italian hotels, bathroom was small and shower/bath was extremely small, room was clean, some carpet stains. The a/c was excellent and was needed by us, and a must have for the hot... more

I recently stayed at the Delta Mercure this weekend for 3 days/2 nights, and was overall very pleased with the experience. My dates were April 10th, 11th, 12th 2009 - Easter weekend, my rate was 109 Euros/night, my room was 303 (standard double ). Arrival - Our easyjet flight had us at the hotel at 9h; despite check-in being at... more

Having just returned from Rome as a 50th birthday suprise from my husband I have to say I was very dissapointed with this hotel. Our room was on the first floor with a lovely view of the bins, it smelt heavily of stale cigarrette smoke and was very small. During the night we were kept awake be the generator which was... more
