Reading here that the room in the Borromeo are even small in European standards didn't make me change my mind about the booking. Why should I care? I want to start saying that hotel is quite decent for the money, even has an elevator (lift). Rooms are clean, serviced early, OK breakfast, free WiFi. The rest is FYI. I ve been in Rome for 3 nights in this lovely Hotel with my family. We had 2 rooms on the first floor. Great rooms, large and very clean. Excellent staff, very helpful with our requests. Location is also excellent, close to the Roman Forums and Colosseum. We loved to walk around and discover the beautiful city of Rome. more
