We spent 5 nights at the Quirinale Hotel in Rome during our honeymoon. Our bed was dreadful - we could feel every spring in the mattress - and it was 3 nights before the mattress was changed. At one point the hotel offered us another room with 2 single beds and we had to remind them it was our honeymoon.... more

Just returned from a fantastic time in Rome to celebrate our Ruby Wedding. Stayed at the Quirinale and could not fault it Room was lavish (Room 501)more of a suite! Breakfast buffet, eaten on the Garden Terrace was excellent with plenty of choice.Reception staff helpful at all times. Did read some of the adverse reviews before booking but after having... more

I stayed in Quirinale only because the hotel at which I stay usually was booked. I am a business traveller. I really did not like this hotel. It is very shabby, pretending to be special and stylish. It was clean and they have indeed good cushions (as they advertise), but that's all. The breakfast was very poor (even for an... more

My boyfriend and I came on Sunday for our wedding on Wednesday at San Silvestro. From the beginning of my preparations for our drinks/dinner reception, the staff were wonderful and upon our arrival, everything was organised, dealt with professionally and helped us relax for our big day. A particular mention to Sarita and the other 'girls' in the office, who... more

We were married here, at hotel quirianle, July 25, 2008. We did not know what to expect after reading all of the mixed reviews, but we fell in love with this beautiful old hotel. The hotel staff in the morning was exceptional. They helped all of our 20 guests coordinate together, and delivered all of our gift boxes to the... more

Stayed here for two nights whilst attending a wedding held here. Was only OK and not worth the premium price. We stayed the rest of the week in La Griffe next door at half the price and a better room and service. more

Our stay was nice and we enjoyed this hotel for it's uniqueness, Renassiance feel, and central location to most of the common tourist sites - some within a 10-15 minute walk. Other reviews are correct in that it is centrally located. However, instread of the bus and/or train, we used the subway/Metro for our transportation around town (even from our... more

We have stayed in many hotels in Rome over the past few years of traveling there. We enjoyed our stay at the Quirinale Hotel. Everything in our room worked just perfectly and the beds were comfortable. This is a busy area, and there is lots of shopping. You must walk towards the Spanish Steps to see some great small restaurants.... more

Stayed here for 6 nights in Aug. Flew into Campino airport and got a taxi directly t/from hotel (40Euro..pay no more). You can also get a bus to/from the central station for approx 18 euro and walk 10 mins to the hotel if you wish. Hotel is 4star anbd costs about UK£125/night. Not really a 4star hotel but the room... more

Hotel has the atmosphere of having once been grand and elegant; now it's just shabby with tired decor and beds that can only be described and akin to prison cots. The breakfast was plentiful but not very appetizing, and usually cold. The staff were at best civil and worst ignorant and rude (and always unhelpful). During our stay we had... more
