Pretty good hotel for the money, we booked via BestWestern.com and paid for a non-refundable Internet rate. Otherwise it may have been a bit overpriced for us. Rooms are dated but appeared to be clean. Location is good - 10 minute walk from Termini station which is convenient if you're coming in by train, want to leave by train, or... more

Spent 4 nights here. Location is very good as the metro is close by as is the termini train station (has airport shuttles). There is a great market/cafe next to the hotel where you can sit outside. The food is very good and cheap as well. The room was on the smaller side but clean. The bathroom was also clean.... more

Stayed here the last week of March. Very convenient for Termini, buses and attractions. Hotel was clean and had all you needed for a city break type holiday. Needed to request kettle etc for room but was free of charge and brought it straight away. Staff very friendly. Bit disappointed with the breakfast. The hot food consisted only of very... more

Hotel Mondial is convenient to the Termini rail station in Rome, which is a 20 - 25 minute train ride from Rome's Funicello FCO Airport. From the Termini, it is a three block walk. Facing the Opera, the hotel is to the right, halfway down the block. From the Hotel Mondial, we were able to easily walk to the Forum,... more

We have just returned from 5 days in Rome celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. Got a fairly good deal despite it being Easter weekend. The room was nice and spacious, most of the staff where friendly and helpful, the only gripe was that the hotel bar was a bit of a rip off (20 euro's for a Baileys and a... more

Hotel Mondial was the recommended 4 star hotel of Air Miles and we stayed there over Easter 2008. It is just 5 minutes from the main rail station Termini and is well placed as a jumping off place to see all the sites - the famous 64 bus (watch out for pick pockets) stops very nearby. The staff were welcoming... more

We stayed here for our graduation trip when we finished college. We didn't want to spend too much money, and we got a great deal on this hotel. This was by far the nicest place for the money! The location is wonderful (right near a metro and the central station), and also near the Piazza della Republique which has really... more

I stayed for a couple of nights at this hotel. The lobby area is fantastic and gives the impression the hotel is better than it is. It is pushing it to call it a 4*. It is a 3* hotel. The room rate however was good for a late booking in Rome and the location is good, close to Termini... more

Find a hotel in Rome by that time was very difficult, almost none was available and the ones left were so expensive. We decided for BW Mondial because Best Western is a well know brand for hotels. The localization ot the hotel is great, one block from the subway station ans three from the central Termini Station, what is really... more

The Best Western Hotel Mondial is a good hotel for the price. Bathroom is big, w/tub and clean. Room is big enough for 3 o 4 people with two twin beds together and a sofabed. Breakfast is of good quality and good variety. Front desk staff needs to be more receptive of foreigners needs with willingness to assist them. Some... more
