This is Old World Rome ! A small botique hotel, with lots of charm and history located across the street from the Roman Forum, a block from the colloseum and near the fasion district of Rome, this place really has it all - it really does not get much better. The rooms are a bit old, but who cares, this... more

What a great hotel we were in one of the front rooms and the view at night of the forum and the surronding area was unbelieveable. You can walk to many attractions from this hotel. Do not book the last week of May because they have a parade on the 2nd of June and the band is out all night... more

We went to this hotel during what was the only summer we experienced! The hotel has great charm and is well attended by the reception area - they are only too happy to attend to your needs. The rooms are great, and I would recommend that you pay that bit extra for the Deluxe room which overlooks the Roman Forum.... more

Fantastic location (200 meters from Colosseum, 50 meters from Forum Romanum). Great service, Great restaurant and breakfast. Fantastic roof bar, but rather small rooms. Quiet area allthough in the middle of "everything". We will return. more

This hotel is excellent, the rooms are incredibly comfortable and plush. The views from our window were ancient rome, the Imperial forum and Palentine hill. The location could not be better, everything is within walking distance, dining choice's gallore. Breakfast was a full buffet breakfast and delicious. The staff were a little impersonal and the reception bordering on rude, everything... more

Due to a sudden change in our travel plans, we needed to find accommodation urgently in Rome one Friday afternoon. The Forum was recommended in our guide and so we telephoned asking for a booking. We were offered a really good deal for a double room that was large by Italian standards. It wasn't cheap but represented very good value... more

Couldn't fault the hotel or the staff. No problems with anything. Staff very helpful. Location excellent. Across the road from the Forum and Palatine Hill. 5 mins walk to the Colusseum. An hours stroll to the Vatican and St Peters. Trevi Fountain about 20 mins if that. In fact everywhere we went was walkable, didn't use transport at all. Would... more

My wife and I just returned yesterday from 3 nights in Rome at the Forum. The Forum is exceptionally well situated for the Colosseum, Forum, and Palantine Hills as well as seconds away from a number of basic restaurants, convenience stores, pizza and gelato shops. Every other touristy site in Rome involves a bus/tube ride. All bus/tube connections are close... more

As you would expect with a hotel bearing this name, it sits next door to the Forum complex in Rome and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions in this part of the city. Travel to the Vatican area by tram, bus or use the 'hop on / off' tourist bus facility. The staff at the hotel were... more

I stayed in this hotel for 9 nights in late June 2008. I was here for work and vacation, and the location was superb for both. I love to walk, and since this hotel is centrally located, I was in heaven. The air conditioning is very good and I stayed in the middle of a significant heat wave. Breakfast is... more
