I selected this hotel for it's location. It is a perfect location. Once we arrived I tried to cancel my reservations. We are not picky travelers but this was to much. The window air conditioners didn't work and we had two fans, one that worked. While my wife and I were trying to stay cool with the fan in the... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Rome towards the end of March for 2 nights. The location of the hotel is amazing, we walked from the train station to the hotel without trouble; it was just down the road from the spanish steps and a 2 min walk from the trevi fountain. Our room was small with a window that... more

Me and my husband went to Rome in September and stayed at the hotel for two days. This is a quiet and clean hotel. We walked in off the street to make our reservation. The staff was friendly and helpul. Our room overlooked a small courtyard. Our only complaint was that the bathtub was too small and the bedspread was... more

The lacation is excellent, very close to Spanish steps, piazza Popolo, trevi fountain and the main shopping streets as via del Corso, via Condotti. The room was small but comfortable, not luxurus but clean, they made the bed everyday and cleaned the sheets. Very quiet at night, good modern aircon. The staff very friendly. Breaksfast included, was simple but fresh... more

This is without doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Ok - Where do I start. The reception staff are horrible. Absolutely the most unfriendly people ever - rude, unhelpful, arrogant --- DO NOT STAY HERE ! The room was below average -- to get there (With our heavy suitcases) we had to go to the first floor... more

As already mentioned the location of this hotel is fantastic! Once we figured out the map, and got used to the confusing streets, we found that this hotel is perfectly situated to explore Rome. The Spanish Steps are almost right around the corner! A very good map is available at the front desk, and the staff are wonderfully helpful. The... more

I actually booked through booking.com, and had a single, simple room for 50 eur a night. Decent- hotel is old, room was small but not THAT small, but reasonably clean. Bed/towels changed daily. Internet a bit slow. Friendly staff. Great location. Did not try the breakfast more

Best price thru Venere. Fantastic location to walk to Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. We had a quad room which was a good size for European rooms. Very clean. The bathroom was another story. Needs restoration soon or it will just fall thru to the floor below. The parquet floor was peeling up from previous water damage. The shower filled... more

The only positive thing I can say about the Elite hotel is the two young ladies and young man working the front desk are nice. My room was very small, the bathroom tiny with antiquated plumbing (miniature bathtub only, about half the size of standard). The "bed" was a cot like thing with an old, worn out mattress. The place... more

I booked this place through American Airlines, and what a rip! I paid $268.68 a nite, inclusive of taxes. American dollars. Had I paid $150 a nite, OK. I must admit that it was scrupulously clean, every day, and the location was great. You can easily walk to the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Borghese Gardens and Galleria, the... more
