The service personnel were accommodating and spoke English. The rooms were tiny and had beds as hard as the floor. It was awful. The AC did not work and the walls were so thin...we could here everyone go in and out of their rooms. Think about this....our room had 7 walls and was supposed to be in the shape of... more

I have stayed at many luxury hotels around the world but this hotel is the most stylish and best designed I have stayed at. I talked to another guest at the hotel and he was impressed by how must work was put into every detail. It would be interesting to have information about the interior architect at the hotels web.... more

As it was our first time to Rome we checked out the hotel on various sites and they all suggested that it was as good as the rest of the them. BUT for my wife and I , we really could not fault the hotel in anyway, yes it is true, it is not a Massive place and so get... more

there were problems! It's a great looking place, well designed and really has a great theme to it. Location is also wonderful for anything you might need (except maybe a supermarket!). The problems we had, only problem to be honest, was with the noise...there seemed to be no noise protection through the doors & walls so you could hear people... more

Although the rooms were a touch on the small side as with everywhere else in rome, we did enjoy ourselves and found the hotel clean and the staff friendly, but the internet veryyyyy slow was the only down fall. We walked everywhere and there are plenty of places to eat close by. My wife regards me as frustratingly fussy with... more

When we arrived at the hotel we were shocked to find mirrors above our beds!!! This really should have been our first clue! Upon entering the hotel bar after a night out we were faced with lots of interesting characters!!! I could only really describe them as ladies of the night and we were informed by staff that they were... more

We had originally booked elsewhere but when I read the reviews (I know I should have done before) I bailed out pretty quick. Mistook location of Valadier as thought it was closer to via Condotti near the Spanish Steps. The hotel describes its situation as being between Spanish Steps and Piazza Popolo - sort of bending the truth a bit... more

Just back from Rome where we stayed four nights in the Hotel Valadier. We were originally supposed to be staying elsewhere but it closed down so we had to book the Hotel Valadier very last minute. We were a bit anxious because we read other people's reviews saying the rooms were tiny. When we arrived we found that Expedia had... more

I have to say that I am not one to write reviews (this being my first) after trips abroad but felt the need to after spending 5 days at this hotel. After being totally stupid at the airport (Fuimincino) and taking the first taxi which was offered at 90 Euros (should be more like 50!) we arrived at the hotel... more

As mentioned in the other reviews, expect an awful lot of shiny black marble and mirrors in this hotel, including one on the ceiling! There was a distinct feel of being aboard a cruise ship, the room (on the top floor) was somewhat compact - there was enough room to swing a cat, but only just. The bathroom was particularly... more
