Stayed here in January 2009 for a long weekend. I booked this property only because it offered the best price I gould get from a first category hotel. Location is not that good (residential area), unless you're going to rent a scooter (and be killed by a crazy-driving-local) or a car (and be fined every 100 metres) you must hire... more

We just returned from our trip to Italy and stayed the last 2 nights at Hotel Borromini in Rome. While the hotel was okay, the staff is something else. Now I wish I had read the reviews before staying there. While we went for a farewell dinner with our tour group, somebody from the hotel went through our room and... more

I was quite confused by the diverse reviews of the boscolo borromini hotel prior our journey. I learned that the truth lies somewhere inbetween. Some of the staff were very helpful, some not. Two of the rooms were nice, the third reminded more of a cellar. The breakfast was nothing special, not terrible but not great. Coffee terrible. The hotel... more

We traveled with a group for two weeks in Italy. The Borromini in Rome was our last stop. Tthe rooms were "tacky"...the bedspreads were the kind you want to take off right away..and the rooms dark. But we were not in Italy for the rooms, so this didn't bother us. The attitude of the staff however, really was upsetting. They... more

Got the hotel through Priceline as a 4 star, and no way this should be labeled as such! Old and worn out interior, uncomfortable beds, rude (well they are Italian) personnel and out-of-the-city location. Not recommended. Not going back. more

If you're reading this Trip Advisor Review for the Hotel Borromini, it must be because you found a room at a good price,...but charm, decor or location were not criteria for you when picking a hotel room! Despite the hotel website photos, the Hotel Borromini is a hotel of no great distinction. As many hotel owners do, the owners of... more

We thought the Borromini was great. My fiance and I traveled to Rome from Vermont for Christmas week. Admittedly, I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews; however, we found the Borromini to be in a fine location (we're walkers and hikers), very close to the Villa Borghese, which makes for a lovely walk to/from sites, with... more

The hotel is lovely (clean room, large comfy bed, lovely bathroom) and although a little out of the centre there is plenty of good and frequent public transport to get you out and about. Be prepared to use it if you want to eat good Italian food! The hotel "restuarant" is lacking in atmosphere (can't comment on the food) and... more

We have just returned from this hotel, stayed in the Borromini for 3 nights and would have liked to have stayed for more. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, especially the reception and breakfast staff. Nothing was a problem to them and their English was very good. The rooms were very clean and had everything you could ask for. Apparently,... more
