The hotel is really close to the Trevi Fountain, the bus stop is almost in front of the hotel. First night in rooms on one the lower floors (first or second, don't know). And the noise from the street was very very loud at night. Kept my grandmother, whose room was on the streetside, from sleeping. After the first night... more

The standard room I had was really small. The bathroom door could not be fully opened because of the bed, and the way around the bed was partially blocked by the mini-bar fridge. The bathroom window did not shut tight so it was rather chilly in the morning. The good thing: no complaints in terms of cleanliness. A big relief!... more

I stayed with my partner in this hotel for two nights in November 08. The hotel was booked for us by a company I had to visit in Rome. Like one of the previous reviewers we were assigned room 201. Truly terrible: hardly space to move in, old furniture and exeedingly basic bathroom. Luckily a colleague and his wife were... more

We stayed in the hotel from October 29 through November 2, 2008. We were 2 adults and 3 children and booked the suite on the 5th floor. The rooms were a bit small but you don't need more because you spend your time outdoor. The place was clean and elegant. The bathroom very comfortable. The breakfast area is wonderful on... more

Just returned from a 2 day business trip to Rome and stayed at Hotel Tritone booked for me by the travel agency of my company, primarily because central location is great. I would say this is the only advantage of this hotel. As for the rest, pretty terrible. They put me in room 201, horrible bedroom, old and smelly. Bed... more

Six adults stayed her for 5 days. Wonderful location. Very central. Tiny lobby/reception area. Kiosk type reception with people lined up on stair entrance waiting for service. Very austere reception staff. - ordered taxi on day of departure for airport which did not arrive. Completely indifferent to our urgent need to catch plane. Had to run into street and get... more

Stayed with two friends in March. Our rooms were standard and, although clean, a bit basic and in need of refurbishment. The rooftop breakfast room was very good and nice breakfast. We could see that the superior rooms on the higher floors were much nicer. Having said that the location was great, the staff very helpful and we did not... more

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor about this hotel, I was a little worried as they were very mixed. The only negative thing that is true is that the hotel is on a busy road so there is noise from passing traffic, but after a day sight seeing you will probably be so tired you won't notice it -... more

I was moved from sister hotel, hotel White because of refurbishments' which I initially wasnt too pleased about. But they gave us a superior room (which wasnt grand but nice enough) so I didnt mind too much when we arrived at Tritone. Location is SUPERB. Opposite is a bus terminal & round the corner is a little local supermarket where... more

I enjoyed my stay there for 4 nights, the hotel has a great location and staff are friendly; breakfast was excellent: variated and fresh and there was a lovely view of Rome while you're having breakfast. Rooms are small and old, but confortable (overall the -mini-bathroom) but it was ok. I would recommend it. more
