Me and my mom decided to book a room in Hotel Doria because of it's location close to everything, reasonable price and the mostly positive reviews of it. And we were not dissappointed, hotel Doria was absolutely perfect place to stay. It was close to almost everything and if you want to go further, the Termini station is just two... more

I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. From the moment i walked in the staff at reception made me feel welcome. Which is something that is lacking in most hotels these days. The breakfast was huge and was served coffee by a lovely lady. Staff at reception were very helpful and made sure i had all the information i... more

Hotel Doria is a small but comfortable hotel. When you are only using it as a base, then it meets all your needs. The room was small, and the en suite even smaller! If you are a "big" person, you may have problems fitting into the shower! The breakfast was basic but tasty and I thought the coffee was lovely!... more

Having decided a spur of the moment trip to Rome I had to search very hard for something half decent for the money. I finally settled on the Doria due to its positive reviews on trip advisor and am very glad that I did. The hotel is close to Termini but outwith the seedy area and is in walking distance... more

What a great little hotel and its just a skip and a hop from the main train station. I found the reception to be incredibly helpful and friendlly and the continental breakfast that they had on the rooftop to be sustainable and breathtaking. Rooms were on the traditional side (if not a little tacky), but their cleaning standards are really... more

We booked this hotel for three nights mainly on the positive TripAdvisor reviews. I think the reviews have mentioned many of the good things: The location is an easy five minute walk from the Termini, even with heavy luggage, and the loc is pretty good for local fare down Via Merulana or into the trendy Monti area. The Metro A... more

5 minute walk from Termini station with easy access to most of central Rome. The Doria is a small but very good hotel for a 1 or 2 night stay. It's basic however very clean and with a nice roof top breakfast you can see the top of the Colosseum. There were no toiletries which we found strange and would... more

What a fantastic hotel. The rooms were great. Really clean and tidy. Free breakfast included and if its nice weather you can sit out on the superb terrace and enjoy a spectacular view of the Colosseum and Rome. The most important point to mention however was the beautiful hospitality that we encountered. The staff were so polite and accommodating. What... more
