I just returned from our 5 days in Rome with my 15 year old daughter. I found this hotel on this site and I am very glad I did. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of Termini and within a 5 minute walk of the Castro Preatorio metro stop. Our room was on the fourth floor overlooking the... more

We booked this last minute and got a great deal. It's walkable from Termini, but easier to take the metro to the nearby stop. Great service (people at the front are extremely helpful), very clean, funky decor. Good breakfast (free espresso!) and feels safe due to the armed guards outside the nearby government buildings. We booked the triple, which was... more

My wife and I stayed in the Artdeco over a weekend stay in Rome. We selected the hotel primarily due to its location and the good price offered. The hotel is situated relatively near the Termini train station, but not too close to be affected by the unpleasant aspects associated with every major European train station. Safety in the area... more

We stayed at the Art Deco for four days, and we would have been happy to stay for much longer. It's very clean, the room was a good size, and the staff looked after us very well. I liked the way that room was tidied twice a day, and we had chocolates left in the room every afternoon. The hotel... more

Can't believe the last review stating that it was in a poor location!!! 5 mins maximum walk from the termini, turn left out of the hotel then left at the top of the road and 15-20mins pleasant stroll later you are in Republicca, walk through termini and out the other side, 5 mins later you are at the one of... more

Stayed there for 5 nights in September. It's not the best located hotel in Rome, but the price was right for me at the time. We booked a king size bed room, and while the room was ok and large, the area where the bed was was quite small. Breakfast was ok, but had to be there early otherwise you... more

Staff speak excellent English and are courteous and professional. The room was relatively small for two people (twin room) but clean, and I was disappointed that for a 4-star hotel room service didn't offer food in the evening (except coffee) and there was no tea/ coffee or ironing facilities either, and the on-demand TV/film services didn't work at all during... more

Not knowing Rome very well, we were a little wary of this neighborhood until we got there. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it's bustling during the day, quiet at night, with enough restaurants nearby to keep you happy, and some of Rome's finest museums within walking distance. The hotel keeps to the artdeco theme throughout, but with a... more

A gem of a hotel. Convenient location - walking distance from Termini Train Station & also a metro stop. I've read that the area can be seedy, but I thought it was fine. I never heard any noise & I never saw any "bad types". In fact, there are consulates around the hotel area & there are soldiers placed on... more

The hotel is within walking distance of the termini which makes it handy to get around and you are also close to metro stops but it you want to be in the heart of the action you might find the hotel a bit remote. The hotel is clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were also clean... more
