Stayed here for four nights with my wife and would stay here again. The common areas in the hotel are beautiful and the service was great. We had no complaints about our room. However, I can see how some of the rooms could be quite small and may not be a good value. I looked at the fire escape routes... more

We are a family with several children and had a wonderful stay in 2 extremely spacious connecting rooms in this hotel. This is an expensive hotel, however, with very good deal for starwood preferred guest members. Comparing it to other upscale Rome hotels: the location is near the termini train station which is a bit less glamorous. However, an enormous... more

There is no denying this is a beautiful hotel and is deserving of its 5 star staus. The rooms however are very small. I stayed in 2 rooms and in the first the room was so small the drawers couldn't open due to the bed. In the 2nd room the bedroom was a bit bigger but the bathroom was much... more

This hotel is just amazing. Everyone from the bell man to the GM took a real interest in making our trip perfect. My wife and I were there for our 1st anniversary using our points for 2 nights before our trip to the Amalfi . I read some negative reports from people using points but my experience was spectacular. We... more

Stayed three nights at the St.Regis Grand Hotel Rome as part of a 10 day Italy vacation. The hotel is old but in good condition. The rooms are decorated with Louis XV style furnishing and the bath rooms are all new and very nice. Service is good and we enjoyed the food and entertainment in the lobby bar. The hotel... more

We stayed at The St. Regis instead of The Hassler, where our friends were staying, because I could use my Starwoods points. The staff was formal and cold; there were many staff members everywhere, but not once were we greeted by name...in an eerily empty hotel. The contrast was considerable when we returned to The Hassler to have drinks with... more

We stayed at St. Regis in Rome from April 4th to April 7th 2009 and it was by far the best part of our 15 day trip to Italy. The hotel is situated in the heart of Rome close to the main train station. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the lobby is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are large and... more

The St Regis Grand is located a stone's throw away from Termini Station, so arriving here is a cinch. Once out of the dreary metro, you'll be greeted with the awe-inspiring Piazza della Repubblica, with the hotel just a few steps away. While others may find fault with the not-so-central location, it really isn't that far away from the sights,... more

What an experience! As an avid traverler throughout the world, I have been able to stay at some of the best rated hotels in the United States, Europe Mexico and the Carribean. By far this hotel is on the top of my list. I stayed at the St Regis "Grand" over Easter week, and LOVED every minute. From the moment... more

I just got back from Rome and had such a great time. First off, I was in contact with the hotel via e-mail for car service, a Vatican tour, and Easter tickets for St. Peter's. The concierge was quick to respond and accomodating. Like other guests had mentioned, when we arrived our room wasn't quite ready, but they brought out... more
