The Best Western Giardino d'Europa is located up some remote street off the freeway. You cannot walk there from the metro station and you MUST get the correct bus from SubAugusto metro or it will take you 2 hours to get there when it's about 10 mins away! We had a bad experience staying here due to the hotel courtesy... more

After reading most of the reviews I can safely say that each of them has value. We stayed here for one night after flying in to the main Rome Airport from the US. Even with a GPS we couldn't find the hotel and asking locals for directions didn't yield any better results. We finally stumbled on to the hotel and... more

Trying to find this hotel after a lengthy drive from Venice (itself after a three day drive from London via Switzerland and the Italian Alps), finding the hotel isn't easy. It's situated between the two carriageways of the Rome outer ring road, nestled between commercial units and what appeared to be abandoned housing at the end of a tiny track.... more

Clean and tidy place but like a ghost town. Hard to find staff when you need them, although they are efficient enough when you do. It is handy for Ciampino Airport, with a free airport shuttle between 9am-9pm. The area around the hotel is not very attractive, being commercial properties in the main, with heavy ring-road traffic roaring by, but... more

This hotel is appropriate if you have to wake up very early in the morning to catch an early flight at Ciampino airport. This hotel is about 10-15 minutes by taxi to Ciampino airport and we highly recommend it as an airport hotel, the room is ok, average size , a weird bathroom where everywhere gets wet as there's no... more

We found these reviews after having already booked the hotel and we considered cancelling our reservation, such was the anxiety that the reviews here caused us. We decided to give it a shot anyway and, having done so, are glad that we did. The staff, almost exclusively, were super helpful, even going beyond the call of duty on occasion. One... more

The hotel was fine for the price. The staff were great. Food was not clever but the free breakfast served its purpose. Very noisy in room. Good point is the rooms are spacious. Getting to Rome is an abolute nightmare. The last train back from City to Anagnina, the hotels subway station leaves as early as 9pm. Getting from Anagnina... more

Location is a nightmare!! Hotel is a bus ride to the metro station either by the irregular shuttle bus (doesn't operate on a Sunday and runs 3 times in the morning and 3 times at night with the last service at 7) or the 503 local service which was random and we waited an hour on the way back on... more

The hotel itself is very good. A nice building, clean and comfortable rooms and a wonderful garden. But it is OK only if you do not go out. The location is terrible. The hotel is situated between the two lanes of the circular road among warehouses and industrial markets. By car you need 1 hour to reach the Centrum in... more

Location of the hotel is terrible not suitable if you plan on visting Rome. In a very awkward place, even the taxi driver could not find it! We found the hotel to be clean and tidy and breakfast offered choice. However the attitude of the reception staff was appalling. they were rude and not helpful at all. When we asked... more
