When we checked in we found our room stunk like cigarette smoke so we went down to the front desk, apologized for being spoiled American/Californians who are not accustomed to anything but non-smoking, and asked to change rooms. They do not have any non-smoking rooms but were very understanding and said they would do the "sniff" test is some of... more

Me and my girlfriend stayed in this hotel in the beginning of April, and it was a really good experience. The room was excelent, and the service too. Everything that you want on a romantic holiday in Rome! more

Hard to review this hotel. We have been to Rome several times in the past, so we knew the location very well, and that was the reason we selected this hotel. We stayed in the suite in the annex portion of the hotel, room 311. The location is great, right on Piazza Rotunda, you can easily walk to any attraction... more

If you want a view of the pantheon, you need to ensure you get a room with a view. It will cost more, tho. Hotel was clean, services friendly, breakfast buffet outstanding; a large variety with some daily changes. Free internet on TV with laptop option. Room was a bit dusty. bathtub meant for baths and not showers as there... more

We stayed at the hotel in late April with our two young children. The hotel was located right by the Pantheon -- literally 50 feet away. Even with two children under the age of 6, the location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere in Roma. The front desk was helpful and the breakfast was typical small hotel... more

We stayed one night in the annex room and were very disappointed. The annex is severly in need of a FULL renovation. Old bed covers , miniscule closet bathroom, musty and dusty. Very noisy, even in early Dec. Bed unconfirtable , hard and sqeeky. The view of the Pantheon was great but coulld not make up for the negatives. The front... more

Stayed here for 3 nights - we had a good view of the Pantheon if we leaned out of the window, otherwise we looked across the Piazza. The piazza is really buzzing, great in Nov. but would be noisy in the summer if you wanted the windows open. The room was v. pleasant but we found the beds hard &... more

The hotel overlooks the pantheon - one of the best preserved sites in Rome. Hotel is lovely - good service & nice rooms. Breakfast isn't great but sufficient - cold continental food only. Would definately return. more

My wife did the tour of Italy on our honeymoon, starting in Venice, going to Florence, then Rome, then Positano. This was the only really disappointing hotel. We stayed just one night. The rooms were dark, musty, and the bathroom smelled mildewy. We asked for a better room, but were told it was the best one. I have to confess... more

We have just returned form Rome after staying 3 nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was in a separate building from thehotel (50 yards) and had 4 of us in there (2 adults, 2 children). The room had the most beautiful view of the Pantheon (Room 111). The staff were courteous and efficient. The breakfast was great, varied choice... more
