My wife and I have just come back from 4 nights in Rome without the kids (yay) and for the first 2 nights stayed in a perfectly good hotel called the 'Hotel Bright' in an area called Prenestina which is on the outskirts of the city. It's a perfectly nice enough hotel but almost 1 a hour journey each way... more
