We booked online with Blue hostel, arrived on time at their "24 hour reception" which is a doorbell (unanswered) and a phone number. We telephoned the number, were informed that they had received our booking but had no room for us! Stayed at Via Labicana 29 Rome in the 2 bedroom 2 ensuite apartment with kitchen and lovely terrace only minutes away from the Colliseum. Spotless, simple and extremely convenient. Andrea arranged our taxi from the airport and met us at the apartment where he gave us an informative session on recommended places to visit and eat - very useful. Lovely... more

Absolutely brilliant. We stayed at the apartment owned by the hostel. There's a view of the Collesium. It has a little lounge, bedroom, kitchen, dining room and a great little terrace ...stay there? I'd like to live there! Nicely done out, modern but authentically 'roman'. Perfectly clean, great service form the owners including lots of tips for restaurants etc. No... more
