A friend and I recently made our first trip to Rome. Knowing that there was a lot to see plus that some of the sites had long lines, we decided to arrange some tours. Based upon our research, we chose Angel Tours. We took two tours - - Ostia Antica (Guides: Reyes & Des) and The Vatican (Guide: Ken). The... more

We loved the tours we took with Angel Tours in Rome on 6/15/09. Angel Jimmy led our Vatican tour in the morning and he was great! We loved the amazing things he pointed out in the tapestry room as well as his detail regarding the Sistine Chapel. But, the piece (sorry no accents on this computer) de resistance was the... more

Want to give you some feedback on our tour. We had a great time, and Ken was a fantastic tour guide…..just the right amount of information, more if you asked specific questions. Very knowledgeable, and personable, injected some humor where appropriate. Overall a very enjoyable experience (despite the heat and crowds). We will definitely recommend this to others. Again, want... more

We toured the Vatican with children and tour guides included them well.We where there a couple of days each side of NewYearsEve. Rome was packed with what appeared with mainly Italian tourists which is fine if you dont mind huge crowds. Our tour guide at the Vatican said if we had arrived after the 5th or ^th of Jan Rome... more

Did the Roman Forum & Colosseum tour in the morning with Jimmy, no regrets...without him it would have been just another photo taking place... if you have done some sort of history course or extensive reading, you won't know where to look and Jimmy does it with ease and makes it all the more interesting with other bits of information...... more

We took the Vatican and Colliseum/Forum tours during the last week of May 2009. Jimmy was our guide for the Vatican and was incredibly enjoyable and entertaining. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history. Our boys are 9 and 11 and he kept their attention during the whole tour. His knowledge of Michaelangelo and his works was so... more

We were in Rome from May 18th-24th as part of our European honeymoon and booked 3 tours with Angel Tours. The booking process was smooth but the highlight was Jimmy. Jimmy is what the perfect tour guide should be: Knowledgeable without being didactic; Enthusiastic; Passionate about the history and top it off with a great sense of humour. We both... more

We started on our first evening with the heart of Rome walk with Ken....a great introduction to the city. Jimmy guided us round the Vatican/St Peters on Saturday and then the Colisseum on Sunday. We still had plenty of time to do our own exploring and lingering over meals, but the tours meant that we saw and learned so much... more

We used Angel Tours in April '09 for touring Vatican City, Forum & Colosseum in Rome over a two day period. What a treat it was to have Jimmy K as our guide. He kept us entertained with so many little tidbits of history that we would never have heard if we tried to tour on our own. Would highly... more

On a freezing night the tour guide actually waited for other couples to show up for a good 15 minutes but only us and one other couple made it. She was nice and gave us a good tour. Definitely worth it. more
