We offer the best value tours in Rome, that is our mission and our promise. Our tours are longer but so interesting you will not see the time going, and they are more Personal, as we Guarantee that you will not share your tour guide with more than 9 other clients. Our group sizes are 10 max. We are a new company, formed in 2007, so I will allow our clients to give their opinions here, rather than indulge in self-praise. « less

We absolutely loved our guide Graham. He made Rome our favorite city on our visit to Europe. It was like a friend telling you about their home (except he knew far more) instead of a stranger quoting facts about the city. While we were in the Coliseum, another visitor nearby heard Graham talking to us and was so pleased that... more

Recently we were in Rome on a family reunion - in total there were 20 of us and I contacted Real Rome Tours to show us the sights of Rome in the 2 days. I found dealing with John and Maria via e-mail very easy and they were able to answer all my questions and assured me that everything would... more

Graham from Real Rome Tours was an outstanding, knowledgeable guide who managed to answer all our questions no matter how obscure. Would recommend Real Rome Tours without hesitation. more

I have to say that Jerry was awesome and his knowledge of Rome and it's history, made for an experience my husband and I will never forget. Seeing Rome without this tour, just wouldn't have been the same. Jerry took the time to explain everything to us and he made sure we understood it all. His sense of humor, his... more

My husband and I just returned from an independent trip to Italy. Coming to Rome, I wanted to know more of the history than my limited reading afforded me. I contacted Real Rome Tours for a tour of the ancient city. I chose them because I had read good reviews of their company and because they guaranteed small groups. They... more

Graham, of Real Rome Tours, gave us an excellent tour for three hours (at about the same cost as other 2-hr tours). Meeting at Constantine’s Arch at 9am, we wound up having a private tour since the only other family that had booked didn’t show. Starting at Palantine Hill, we had the grounds virtually to ourselves! And even the Forum... more

We had a great time on our Vatican tour with Real Rome Tours. Booking was very easy -- I contacted the company via email and they were very helpful in arranging our tour and working within our time constraints as we were just in Rome for a day from a cruise ship. Our guide, Graham, was very knowledgeable and helpful.... more

Graham met my husband and I for a 3 1/2 hour tour of the Vatican gardens and museum, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Lucky for us, we were the only two in his group! Graham was punctual, informative, and fun. The tour can be overwhelming, but he gave us a good amount of information that was plentiful yet... more

My wife and I along with my two children (12 & 10) had the pleasure of taking two tours with this company in late April 2008. Our first tour was The Vatican. Graham our guide took us on a most magnificent journey through the Vatican Museum & St Peters Basilica. We were all thouroughly mesmerised for 4 1/2 hours as... more
